The Simonehoeve is an original cheese farm and clogs factory. We invite you to come and take a look at how cheese is made and how clogs are cut out. Of course you can try on some clogs and try and buy cheese in our shop. But we are more than that…

 

More than cheese and clogs

The Simonehoeve has a lot of possibilities for a completely arranged day out. What would you like to do? A cosy excursion or an afternoon of Old Dutch games? Decorating clogs or rather a tour to Volendam and some fish tasting? From a Dutch lunch to the smoking of mackerel or eel. From folklore to high tea. At the Simonehoeve it is all possible.

Whether you are coming alone, or with a big or small group, we have space enough. A company trip, family day or just a day out? Ask us for the possibilities. De Simonehoeve is always here to help you.

 

You will find us on the verge of Katwoude and Volendam, about fifteen kilometres from Amsterdam, next to hotel Van der Valk.

De Simonehoeve is also accessible for the disabled.

 

The guided tour with demonstrations of how cheeses and wooden shoes are made, including tasting of cheeses, fruit wine, and typical Dutch biscuits is free of charge.
