Package - Day Program 13A:  Making Farmhouse Cheese (in pairs) at the Simonehoeve -  Lunch etc

 

After the introduction about the Dutch Farmhouse Gouda Cheese, all participants start with the cheese making process. Step by step you learn how to make your own cheese.
When the cheeses have been put under the cheese press, the participants will get a guided tour through the cheesefarm and clog factory. When the tour is finished, the cheeses can be removed from under the cheese press. These cheeses will get salted before they can be taken home.

Total duration approx. 2.5 hours. A shorter program is possible.


10:00:   Cheese making workshops where you will work in pairs to make farmhouse cheese. Everyone gets half a cheese to take home.
12:30:   Typical Dutch buffet lunch
13:30:   Tour of the Simonehoeve
14:30:   Finishing up the cheese making process
14.45:   The end
